Hi guys,
I don’t blog about all my commissions, but I thought I would share this one here with you because it’s a BIG one for me. Rebecca Judd is kind of a superstar here in Australia. Her and her husband Chris Judd, being something like Aussie versions of Victoria and David Beckham.
Long story short, Rebecca saw my installation at the NGV and got in touch to say she wanted to commission a painting for her new house. So, I drew up a design, included the “flying cubes” to represent her four children and then got to work, albeit with a few nerves!
I do love the final work (180 x 180 cm), and am happy to say it will sit above the staircase in the main entrance of their home. A bit weird knowing they will all look at it everyday.
Anyhow, here is the finished piece. It was nice to paint a house again, something I haven’t done for awhile.
I am always happy to chat commissions and you can do so directly here with me, or via my galleries; see the painting page here on my website, or email me at; hello@jasminemansbridge.com
Also, look out for it on Postcards later this year!
Jasmine X
PS I have also decided to start signing my artworks the same way I sign my large scale works.. what do you think? Do you like this? I also used it as the logo on this website when I did a refresh!
