I had the privilege of attending this years NGV Gala with my dear friend Amanda who owns Grampians Goods Co. We stayed at The Langham Hotel at it was a wonderful way to wrap up 2023. When I got home I was inspired to sit and paint a new series of night time/nocturnal pieces. Inspired by the inner landscape of the dream world. Nocturnal Geometry features Thought Catchers, Dream Gazebos, portals, pyramids, stairs, abstract shapes and forms. All which feature in my larger scale work.
The paintings measure 15 x 20 cm and the paper used is the finest 300 gsm arches paper which was purchased during my residency in Tunisia in 2022 and lugged all the way back to Australia. They are all available for purchase and you can see them HERE.
I love to paint small scale works to test new ideas and also to make original work that is more accessible and affordable. If you can have them framed professionally I highly recommend doing so, otherwise these pieces will fit into a standard 6 x 8 frame.

*Also please note that the paintings will be flat once in a frame, the edges curl and make them hard to photograph flat! They look so much better in the flesh!
I do have more to add and to say about 2023, but for now it is just a huge thank you to all of you who continue to stick around and encourage me. There are some wonderful things happening in 2024 as my practice continues to grow and expand.
