I have had a few projects on the go lately, sometimes my brain enjoys (needs) a good old fashioned diversion.
I have been enjoying making quilts, and have experimented with panels of my own spoonflower designs on fabric, combining them with Liberty, aunty cookie and other op-shop, vintage and spotlight fabric finds (to name a few sources).
Another fun project has been starting work on a series of small embroideries. These are done on fabric screen printed with details from my paintings. I love seeing the original work get a second life. I am planning to sell these little ones to help cover some of the expense of New York next March.
