These scarves were inspired by a recent trip to India and a series of small postcard like paintings that I made upon my return home. They contain reoccurring architectural metaphors and motifs from my arts practise alongside elements and fragments of visual inspiration from my journey. The idea of the postcard was born from the desire to share thoughts and inspiration and send these on to people we care about and love. In this way travel can connect us both to new people, places and experiences but also then for us to bring all this new understanding back into our familiar worlds.
